I’m getting a whole lot better at snail mail correspondence! :D I like throwing in some photos in with letters to – I like to imagine their response. It’s mostly scenery photos. If it’s for my little cousins, I throw in stickers I’ve had for a while but never used. Someone might as well make use of them :D.
I’ve also almost gotten everyone’s mailing addresses collected in one email account so that should be easy to find (I tend to lose them if I write them down). Whee!

Those are my primary ways of keeping in touch. I’m on a postcard kick right now, though, and I’m sending batches of them out. A nice thick batch is going out tomorrow morning. :D
Facebook is lovely, though. I also try to email but hardly anyone replies back. I can’t get a substantial email from very many people.

I find that receiving a text message from someone I normally don’t hang out with is still as exhilarating as someone who I see a lot. It still starts off the day right – so I’ve taken to sending out text messages on Monday and Tuesday mornings to people. Well, I’ve done this all along but I’m making more of an effort to text people I usually don’t text, as well.
It’s also a nice and short way to get a summary of their weekend (if they care to respond) and to see if they have upcoming plans. :)
I’m going to try to make this a goal every week – to send out a few choice text messages. I’ll also send out emails at least once a month to people I never ever talk to just to keep in touch. sigh

I sent out postcards to friends this week! Three of them received them already. I’m so glad :). They all seemed to like it – it’s a random surprise, I guess. :D
From the 4 letters I sent last week, I only got word from one but I don’t think the others would let me know anyway. But I’ll assume they did receive them. :)
The idea of sending out random mail is pretty fun! :)

I use facebook a lot to help keep in touch with people, even if it is only the occasional post. I have a myspace account but I hate it to death. I don’t use it. I check it like once every 2 months or something.
I just sent out 4 letters the other day – some of ‘em were later than I had intended but at least they got sent, right? know for sure one of them has arrived but the other 3 are international so maybe they will take a little longer. It’s actually kind of fun!
Perhaps I will send out a couple more letters or packages this week to friends in California. :D
