go to the theatre more often

Well I just found a classmate who enjoys theatre a lot. Maybe I’ll get her contact info and start asking her if she’s interested.

“Na Ola Iwi” is the name of the play I am going to go see this weekend! I’m not sure what it’s about but it has something to do with racial relations, I think, here in Hawaii. I guess it’ll be the last play I see in Hawaii this year as I’m broke and can’t afford to go to see any others. We’ll have to see if I can find cheap shows to attend around the university.

This show is put on at a small theatre that’s known for it’s more thought-provoking, profound shows. No fluff there, but lots of comedy. :)

I’m going to a greek restaurant right before. I’m very excited.

I love plays and I love musicals. They’re both so wonderful. Some are better than others and some are unbearable. Nonetheless, it’s interesting to spend more time here than going to the cinema. I can rent a DVD or whatever anytime but theatre is live and can finish a run as short as one weekend or as long as one decade. Nevertheless, theatre is my passion. :)
