own a fennec

For those of you who don’t know what a fennecis, it’s a species of domesticated fox. They are legal here in Canada, but the problem is finding a local breeder – they can be kept as pets, but they cannot be imported into the country. At least, that’s how I understand it.

Woe is me…

Of course, finding a breeder is one thing. Affording the pet is a whole other story. They’ne not cheap to purchase, and they’re not cheap to care for either.

This one might be a “long-term” goal.
