Do a random act of kindness every week

Sometimes it doesn’t seem that I have many talents to offer. But yesterday in conversation with an acquaintance it came to light that she does not type and had to prepare a 15 page assignment for a course she is taking. This was a daunting task for her so I offered to come and take dictation and type it for her. She was so pleased and it made me feel even better to do it for her.

Today I went to clean Grampa’s house with my cousins and aunt. He had a bit of misfortune this week while cleaning his stove out with the shop vac. He didn’t realize there was a hole in the bag until he finished the job!

This week the owners of the company I work for were away and I was asked to care for their small dog while they were away. I didn’t exactly volunteer for this, but it came my way and I did it!

I’m petsitting for the weekend for my friend who is still away.

This weekend I cared for the pets of my friend while she’s away.

Technically, I didn’t actually do this act, but I was the inspiration behind it. I encouraged hubby to take my young cousin out for a round of golf tomorrow. He agreed, called Tris and made the arrangements. Tris was very happy, which made me happy.
