make a trophy

Well almost. Its standing and it works. Its holding up the footy that it was designed for and its serving its purpose of displaying the footy rather than it rolling around everywhere so id say all in all a very successful venture.

I have found many places that will make me a trophy but as its not for anything major, actually its just for display/storage purposes of 2 footballs, i cant justify the 60 each to have them made. I have sourced the wood to mkae them and thats about 10 per trophy so acceptable but then i finished a role of tape and decide these cardboard rings work great for my bowling balls so why not for the footy. It works really well. So the trophy is half way there as the footy is sitting on it but its not painted or labled yet. So one is hlaf doen and the other is still waiting for the tape to run out which is rapidly approaching.
