become a university professor

Praise the Lord. I was accepted by the Universtiy of Maryland Baltimore to complete my DScPT. I’m in. Official. I start classes on the 6th of January. It’s gonna take 2.5 years.

I plan to finish my application today and mail it to the University of Maryland tomorrow. If accepted I’ll get my DScPT in about 2 and a half years. From there, on to teaching…

Well i’m on my way. I just found some information concerning a DScPT degree offered by the university of Maryland medical school. They said that the deadline for spring enrollment is October 15th, so i’m gonnna have to hustle. Two and a half years and I’ll have my Doctorate. Now I just have to gather all my transcripts, get 3 letters or recomendation, get all my CEU certificates, write out a mission statement, and fill out the application.
Dosen’t seem too hard. I can do this.

I’m only 28, and i think it’s about time that i start taking things into my own hands. After all, the only way you can change things are through education or legislation. So i’m gonna be a professor. I plan to teach in my field of expertiece. I”m a physical therapist by trade, so naturally i’m gonna have to start there. I already have my Masters of Science degree but i don’t think it’s enough. I went to school in Michigan and now live in Mayrland. Both the university that i attended and the university of Maryland offer either a PHd, or DSc. Now it’s just about getting off my butt and doing something about it. I wanna have it before i’m 31. I think it’s possible.
