Start a successful band.

I’m not sure if this is going to happen. I’m thinking I’m going to do more of a solo blues thing than a rock band thing. Only because my voice is basically made for blues, not that I couldn’t do rock with my voice, just you’ve gotta work with what you’ve got right? I mean I write rock and blues songs, but I write blues songs so much easier. I’m going to eventually own my own record label, which means I’ll be producing and doing some song writing as well. So it’s not like I’m not going to get to be involved in rock. I’m going to Miami to be intrduced to a lot of people in the music industry and get lessons by a guy who has given Mariah Carey vocal lessons, so I’m going to see what he thinks I should do. My gut feeling says he’s going to recommend blues though. Time will tell. :)

So I a local drummer found me on bandmix and we are meeting up tomorrow to kind of audition each other. We’ve talked on the phone a few times and we are on the same page with everything! From the type of music we’re wanting to play, to going commercial, to working hard and practicing, we are almost the same person! l0l. I so hope this works out, because getting along with my bandmates is almost more important than their level of skills… almost. :0)
