is acting so strangely today. (This is not the same cat as my profile pic.) He seems to be in crazy attack mode. And not in the playful way. In the mean kind of attack mode. He was sitting on the arm of the chair I am sitting in now and he darted his head toward me to bite me. Thankfully I was paying attention and I beat him to it by pushing him off of the chair before he could get me. He jumped right back up though and seemed even meaner. So I lured him out of the room to where the treats were and I gave him some treats. Then he sat in the hallway and cried for five minutes. I checked on him to see what he was crying at or near but I didn’t see anything. He’s quiet now which is just as unsettling.

is in a chapter of a book about Vietnam. We all got a copy. I read my Dad’s chapter…it made me sob to think he was as old as my daughter is now when he went through all of this. It was so heartbreaking to read all of the gory details. I knew the basic story because he’s talked about it all my life but he’s always left the worst parts out when telling us.
My heart aches for my Dad,knowing what he experienced. Knowing that he still thinks about it over 40 years later. I don’t know how you survive something like that.
and now I have almost no time for anything…even stopping to go to the ladies room is tough to do. One good thing. I got a raise.
But boy am I earnng every single cent.
I don’t even have time to get on 43T during the day now and in the evenings I am too tired to get online or do anything.
I’m exhausted.
I dedicate to my ex-husband:
“Keep away from small people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.”
Mark Twain
“Begin dong what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand and melting like a snowflake…”
Francis Bacon, Sr.
“If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude. Don’t complain.”
Maya Angelou
Because 20 years ago my cousin was killed in a drunk driving accident. It has ruined the entire month for me. I’m not looking forward to it.
I haven’t had one cheer to give today. What’s going on?
I haven’t checked every single minute but I’ve been on here off and on all day.
It’s friday. I’m exhausted. Yesterday everyone at work was complaining about someone else. I am tired of the negativity. I need a day of silence. Or some people to stop talking if they don’t have something nice to say!!!! I’m just going to keep smiling and hope their negativity doesn’t rub off on me!
