Become a CPA

FAR-72 :(
REG-took 4-9-11
BEC-taking 5-28-11
AUD-starting class on May 31

I just have to keep trying. Need to pass at least something by Dec 31 to qualify without taking more classes to meet the education requirement which is about to change in PA. Still have 2 more tries for 4 more tests, so 8 shots!

I feel pretty good about REG but not confident enough to KNOW I passed it. At the moment I know I wouldn’t pass BEC if I walked in there today. Still have a month, but a LOT to do!!

I’ve just spent over an hour trying to decide what materials to use to review. Its so hard to know which are most comprehensive/easiest to understand. Prices range a lot too; its hard to know if its worth it for the ones that cost twice as much. I cant help thinking my time would be better spent actually studying for the exam! What needs to be from this year? There is so much stuff on ebay, but I dont know if its a waste of money to buy outdated material, or a waste to spend crazy amounts for practically the same material with a 2009 stamp on the front.

Well at least I’ve got the ball rolling. Sending my application in as soon as I get the signatures from my references.

I want to take the test as soon as possible. I want to find a job that will encourage me to become certified and give me the appropriate work experience.
