Leap of Faith

I’ve always had a fascination with heights, maybe some sort of instinctive desire to soar like a bird. Once I did a ropes course where I had to climb a tall tree, stand on a small platform, and leap out horizontally and grab a trapeze bar. Although I stood there for about 15 seconds getting up the nerve, I was one of the few in my group that did it. I expect I would have the same feeling of accomplishment jumping out of an airplane, only more so.
