I had my 1st lesson and it was sooooo hard. The teacher was deaf and spoke in sign language fluently and I couldn’t understand what he was saying! He gave us about 30 words in an hour to learn..which was impossible withou practicing a few properly. Put off sign language for life….... but least I had a crack at it! Now going to do something else

I’m now registered to be on a course and it starts end of September Hope it will be useful and I will find deaf people to speak with. One year course but I may consider doing Level 2

The thing is I do not have deaf people around to talk to. I may not even use it.. HMM
