I can confidently sign this goal off. The blog is growing at a steady pace and I’ve built up 25 followers. The aim is to reach 100 posts by the end of 2010, but I’ve decided to track this on my Best Year Yet entry instead.

I’m about to publish my 45th post and am amazed that I’ve managed to keep it going this long (although at this point I need to remind myself that I’ve been posting here for 5 years so maybe not that surprising!).
I love the fact that I now have a dedicated home for all my literary interests.
The blog is coming along. It’s not as detailed as I’d like, but at least it’s a chart of my writing journey.
I’ve got bags of stuff that I want to write about on this new blog so it’s been pretty easy to keep it going. My posts are short & sweet. I’m also trying to ensure that they’re helpful. So far, I’ve had 46 unique visitors in 2 weeks (8 returners) – not much, but it’s a start.
It’ll be fascinating to see how this project pans out.
I’ve written two entries and have lots of other ideas for posts in the pipeline. The aim is to post entries 3x per week. I’ll review when I get to the 20 post mark and look at adding it to forum signatures etc.
Definitely going to start a writing blog in 2010 – hopefully a more successful one than the 2009 food offering (which I might ressurect if I ever get the time)!
I read lots of the US YA author blogs, and a couple of UK ones. Not sure how prolific I’m going to be, but the main thing is to get something up and running. It’s a must for wannabe US authors, UK authors not so much.
