Nano no-no 3 years ago

2006 hasn’t turned out to be the year of the Nano for me due to other commitments, but I did pick up last year’s attempt and found it surprisingly compelling.

I think I might just sent it off in it’s virgin form next year anyway and see what happens.

So much for my end Jan deadline – I haven’t even started to re-write. I don’t know how everyone else is doing, but I’m finding it difficult without the Nano impetus behind me.

Maybe Feb will be more productive. I will have to encourage my internal muse.

I am going to be realistic and give myself until the end of Jan to complete my second draft as I can’t see myself doing much before Christmas.

Only then will I let my husband read it. Last time I gave him something unfinished, he was so picky that I gave up on it so I’m not giving him a chance this time!
