I started doing MySpace, which accomplishes this. It tells you what al your friends and family are up to, and even eminds you of their birthdays.

Today I set up a MySpace page at www.myspace.com/silvertastic and anyone is more than welcome to come visit me. I resisted 4 a long time, and a lot of the kids have layouts that suck. i’m trying to keep mine pretty cool, and it’s much more comprehenesive than i thought. it’s a great internet place to set up and keep in touch with family and friends. i am psyched.
I keep getting e-mails from friends we made more than ten years ago in high school and then when we lived in Misawa, Japan. I’m so encouraged and touched by this. I think they are keeping up with my whole “Cushing’s Syndrome” saga.
Also my Mom and my sister are settling in very well here. My sister is 10 and she loves it here so far. She’s kind of on a vacation until we can enroll her in school. She drew me a fantastic picture yesterday.
what i’ve done so far is e-mail my distant relatives a lot more. I text my brother and some of my cousins. I call my Dad more, and I even tell him I love him now. I call my Mom every weekend for about an hour. I send e-mails and e-cards to my friends, especially the ones that benefit charity. Like from www.thehungersite.com
