12. Lonely Planet Guide to Yosemite National Park
13. Time Out San Francisco
14. Time Out Las Vegas

Hell there’s a lot to take in for this trip, managed to book all of my hotels now and a couple of shows/concerts. Using the Time Out Los Angeles book too but i can’t really add this to my list as i’ve read it before a previous trip.

If anyone is thinking of getting a travel guide you really can’t get better than the Time Out.

Ludmilla’s Broken English – DBC Pierre

It was ok, certainly not groundbreaking. The story line was original and there was some funny dialogue between the brothers. There are better ways to spend some hours.

9. Flashman’s Lady – George Macdonald Fraser

I love these books, poltically incorrect but very funny nontheless – just what we need in the crazed modern times

10. The Take – Martina Cole

One of the old ladies from work lent this to me. A hardcore read, gritty and very real, i’m amazed that this lady reads them as the language and content is choice to say the least!

7. Lonely Planet Guide to Egypt – in preparation for my hols in 10 days!

8. The Damage Done – Warren Fellows

Absolutely excellent, a horrifying real life story of a drug smuggler spending 12 years in a Bangkok prison.

Rock on! 3 years ago

6. Hammer of Gods – Led Zeppelin Unauthorised – Stephen Davis

Not bad, thought it would have more hell raising in it. It would help if i knew more than a few of their songs. The best rock autobiography i’ve ever read is the Motley Crue – Dirt.

5. The Timeout Guide to London
Yet another travel book but essential to make the most of your trips.

Untitled 3 years ago

not doing too bad:

1. Lonely Planet Ireland
2. Lonely Plant Germany
3. The Traveller – John Twelve Hawks (excellent in a similar vein as The Da Vinci Code)
4. Portnoy’s Complaint – Philip Roth (very funny story of a compulsive masterbator who has unhealthy feelings about his own mother).

this year to help me further my career, i am going to read more business books.
