I didn’t do Art GCSE at school, but did do ‘A’ Level as a 5th subject, in which I managed to scrape an E. Since then I’ve done very little though, and every now and again, I think it would be nice to learn properly. This afternoon, being at a bit of a loose end, I decided to have a go at a quick sketch. This took about 30m minutes – one of my problems is that I draw far too fast. Another is that I’ve never managed to work out perspective, and so everything tends to look a bit flat. It’s not too bad though, and I’m fairly pleased with it. Needs some tweaks yet though…
