Tiny little pieces

I’ve always liked the look of mosaics, and like the idea of creating something beautiful out of many tiny little pieces.
In a way, of taking broken pieces and making something beautiful and whole.
In my city, there is a business run by a couple of sisters who, for a fee, let you come into their home studio and teach you/help you to make a mosaic. It’s about $35, and a couple of my work friends are also interested in doing it.
We need to find an evening that will work.
I’m looking forward to doing this sometime in 2007.
