listen to more music.

I’ve gotten so much new music lately that I can’t really appreciate it all. Also, these last few weeks I haven’t been able to listen while at work. This will hopefully change next Monday.

I just added AC Newman’s album (A Slow Wonder) and a new goal of mine will be to keep up with several of these indie blogs that offer MP3s of new bands. The few I like now are:

There’s the new Clap Your Hands Say Yeah album and the new Shins album. Also my Etymotic ER6i earbuds will arrive next week!

I’ll continue this but I’m listing it as done. I got into the habit of listening to my MP3 player at work and it helps me focus. Now that Andrea has upgraded me to an iPod, I know I’ll be listening to even more. It is so much easier to manage music on the ‘pod. Also, we’re comparing music collections and her mom got me a gift card to iTunes, so this goal is complete!

I can’t think of anyone I know who owns a nicer stereo. I listened to it tonight while doing the dishes and it still surprises me sometimes even though I’ve had it for about two years.
