I went to Han Ah Reum and they had a soy milk/tofu maker for $200.
Let it sink in.
$200!!!!! To chop and warm some soaking beans! Are they insane?!

When on ebay and looking for soymilk makers, keep an eye out for the $19 soy milk soap direct from Tokyo.
I do see a few models on ebay, some of which look good, such as the Soy Milk Maker DJ-15A by Tayama. Any thoughts?
and maybe the beans too. I’ll try this for a while, and if its worth it, then this will be one of my best investments. Unfortunately this is somewhat low on my list of priorities, as I get some pretty damn good Soy Milk from Trader Joe’s In particular, their Soy Divine rocks. And it goes especially well with their Peanut Butter Panda Puffs cereal.
The people who make the SoyToy are certifiably insane. Same with the NotMilk! people. I won’t use the tool of the madmen.
