Become BCBA Certified

Truth be told … I hate studying and I hate exams. Simply because I just don’t have the energy to stare at textbooks and be forced to memorize stuff.

The field I work in is starting to require this certification more and more every day which means I will HAVE to take the exam.

Steps to take at this point:
1) Fill out application
2) Register to take the exam in 2010 (before requirements change)
3) Study for exam attempt # 1:P
4) Wait for results
5) Study more if needed
6) Take exam attempt # 2 if need be
7) Wait for results
8) Pass the exam!!!!

Now that I have finished all coursework and requirements for grad school, I get to sit around and wait to find out my final grade.
I will be earning my Masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis hopefully within the next week.

The next step in my professional/educational development will be to sit for and pass the BCBA exam.

Over the next few weeks, I will start reading through the application process and see what is expected of me. I will start saving money towards the costly application fee and officially add it to my 43things list.
