Did this on my father's side — 1 month ago
A few months ago I stumbled upon a wealth of information on a free family tree research website about my ancestors on my dad’s side of the family. Luckily someone had already done all of the research work! It was amazing to see how far back my family went and to find out the exact history of my last name and who was the first person to bring it to this country, etc. It was a name I hated and was teased about growing up, but I have a whole new respect now that I know the history.
