After experiencing better posture and a more tranquil and joyful mind after several Kundalini yoga classes, I decided to commit to a regular practice to see how it would change me. I decided on Ashtanga because I need to address my lack of core strength after an open abdominal surgery 4 months ago. I signed up for a Beginners Series—2 sessions a week. After that, I’m going to try to increase it to 3 times, then 4 times a week. My 4th class is tonight. I’m looking forward to the challenge as I try to learn the poses and breathe at the same time! Later, I’d like to take a beginner series in Kundalini with my husband!
