Me and the Irish Lad broke things off. While it really isn’t something totally unexpected, I had higher hopes for things and am sad in the end.
He’s a great guy and will find someone who is perfect for him, and I know I will find someone too.
The best part is he was there for me at a time that I needed it and our relationship was a blessing from God.

Sorry I haven’t been keeping up here – but wanted to update you all to say that all is still going dizzingly well!
Irish Lad is fantastic and we have gotten closer then ever. I love who I am and how special he makes me feel. Our relationship is so dreamlike, it’s hard to quantify in words. We’ve had deep conversations and some misunderstandings, but those have really just brought us closer to each other and with more respect for our relationship.
We’ve been together for 3.5 months and it’s the best relationship that I’ve ever been in. He respects my opinion and beliefs, he’s smart and funny and soooo devilishly cute.
The cherubs love him and he enjoys reading them books, hanging out at the playground and visiting DC museums on our weekend adventures all together.
Looking forward to what the future will hold for the first time in a very, very long time!

The Irish Lad and I have become exclusive. He asked me if I would give him the pleasure of being his girlfriend! How delicious is that??!!
He and I think alike on so many different topics, yet we grew up in vastly different circumstances.
The one cute thing about him is that he is directionally impaired, much more so than me, but actually that works to my advantage because he never gets mad at me when we are lost, LOL.
He actually has never been mad at me for anything, and that is a real shocker from my ex-h’s attitude. I mean, I’ve given him reason to – but he takes it in stride.
I am so grateful to God for putting him in my life at just the right time.
