Wayne made me think of this goal as he was speaking/typing to me and this fancy idea popped in my head and I thought, yep – let’s add it. An extra layer for French deliciousness, if you will:
I think it would be lovely to have a boy read Le Petit Prince in French to me as we are snuggled up on Sunday morning.
That way I could be getting in a review of the “classics” while having quality one-on-one time with my SO and brushing up on my French. It would be a triple-goal play ;o)

Probably should use a real French Man this time, so I’m sure I’m doing it properly and can check this off my list.
I had anticipated a training session this past weekend, which to my surprise didn’t turn out that way.
Will miss the Cowboy, but I’m new to the research scene and there are plenty of other occupations to keep me busy.

So my non-French man (also known as Cowboy!) has decided that it’s been too long since we’ve gotten together (okay, it was a mutual decision, but sometimes a girl likes to spin the perspective…)
My schedule has been too crazy to fit many things in much less ranch hands. Thankfully, however I am free some of this weekend.
Looking forward to it for a few reasons:
1. It’s been crazy at work and home; I need a break to not focus on that.
2. Some males in my immediate life (my ex-h and dog, Max) have been giving me grief and I need to ensure that all good men haven’t been taken by the Rapture.
3. I need to practice; otherwise I will never be able to complete this goal properly.
4. We’re going to a restaurant I haven’t been to in years. The last time I was there I had good memories.
5. He’s honest with me, even if I don’t like what he’s saying.
6. He’s funny and can usually keep up with my wacky sense of perspective.
7. He’s smart in a very non-condescending way
8. He’s the most courteous man I’ve ever met. Not in a sugary way (and I’m sure there are times when that isn’t the case), but it’s very amazing to me that he instantly thinks of the good in people or the situation.
9. But, his occasional grumpiness is cute too.
10. He likes to get what he wants and uses a lot of surprisingly charming tactics to achieve the desired results.
11. I’ve tired him out, which was VERY hard to do, but HA! I won :oP !!!
12. He listens to my suggestions for fun things to do and follows through on them. (This I have made, VERY hard to do, but he’s surprised me each and every time).

Can’t blame me for giving in to the studies. He’s a good and patient tutor. I want to make sure I’m doing it right, so I think it’s important to indulge in all aspects.
Maybe I’ll try different techniques and have him hold up cue cards to let me know how he likes different things.
Of course, the cards would read “9.9995”, “9.9996”, “9.9997”, “9.9998”, “9.9999” and “10”
;o)

I don’t think he has any French ancestry, but there is a boy that does french kiss and is very good at it. I’ve seen him with and without his beard…. I like the beard best!
