we have kept a vigil since seeing this paw print in the snow in front of our house…
Jennalicious ~ Currently Researching Trouble ;o) has written 5 entries about this goal
Garfield thought it was interesting the story my cherubs told him about what they learned in school.
It was a good lesson for all on an important day ;o)
We got him out yesterday (finally… sorry poor guy) and he really loves the sites.
I’ve taken a ton of pictures that I’ll post on Kodak or Fliker (I don’t have an account on that site, but I’ll see about it).
Was planning on taking him out again today, but there is a winter weather advisory of sleet and snow/rain/ice mix for most of the day, so it might be tomorrow that I do some more adventures. (Yesterday it was 32 degrees and the cherubs were not really interested in walking, and in DC to go anywhere fun you have to park far away and walk.)
But, so far he’s been to:
~ The Lincoln Memorial (On Martin Luther King Jr. Day! I thought that was fitting :o)
~ The White House (Although I will try to get directly in front next time and maybe with a Secret Service guy ;o)
~ The Capitol Building
~ The Smithsonian Castle, The National Museum, & The Hirshhorn Gallery
~ The Department of Veteran’s Affairs (see above)
~ DC Park Bench
~ By a DC Tourist Bus (it’s a cute pic)
~ The Swimming Pool & Coffee Shop with the Cherubs
~ Sitting in snow and “ice skating”
Planning on going to:
~ Old Town Alexandria
~ Closer White House
~ DC Police ;o) & Secret Service
~ Some others, but don’t want to give away all my secrets ;o)
If you have an special requests, by all means… I’m always game for a challenge!!!
