There is also a Haunted Tour which was fabulous that takes off from Flannigan’s Pub off of Saint Phillip St. Our tour guide was a gifted and animated storyteller named Randy. It was a walking stand-up comedy show with sinister and, for some, disturbing tales of hauntings and vampires in a non-fantastical way, including a school house built on a graveyard, The LaLaurie House, one of Anne Rice’s houses, and so forth.
Worth the price!
My thoughts go out to the residents that the city bounces back fully to it’s former splendor. It is quite a spirited place.
