I got a call from my recruiter this evening and found out that I have been nominated as an English teacher for Eastern Europe, leaving around May!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!

Interview 2 years ago

Had my interview on Tuesday. It seemed to go pretty well and made me absolutely 100% positive that the Peace Corps is the right decision for me. And now, I wait.

I’m about 1/2 way through application and need to just set aside some time this weekend to work on the finishing touches to submit it. The PC has been in the back of my mind my whole life, but the fact that it’s slowly becoming more of a reality is so crazy! It’s such an amazing opportunity and is one of the few things in life I’ve been certain of… I can’t wait! :)
