The next round of applications will begin this September. There are a few things I should probably do: 1) LEARN JAPANESE, 2)get a TEFL certificate to increase my chances of being selected, 3)join the Japan Society of Boston to have access their resources.
The thought of going to Japan all by myself and living there for an entire year with only the most rudimentary understanding of the native language utterly scares me to death, but I feel that it is something I have to do. I’m afraid that life is passing me by. This is a rare opportunity.
