i tried to swim laps today. it was very painful, but i think that if i keep at it, then i will eventually get there.

my dad was a college swimmer, excelling at every stroke possible. he always tried to teach me when i was younger, but i never wanted to learn, i just wanted to play in the pool. now i’m regretting it. all my siblings took the time to learn, but i never did. now that i’m getting my rear in gear and i want to be more fit and healthy, i wish i knew how to swim!
