Despite my lack of support for the war in Iraq, I do wholeheartedly support the young people stationed there. I went buck-wild at Target today buying games, snacks and DVDs to send. I can’t fathom the idea of being in a warzone and not being able to know that there are people out there who care about how you’re doing.

Well I haven’t quite worked my way up to this goal creativity-wise, but I did join www.postcrossing.com and so far am thouroughly enjoying sending post cards all over the world. It definitely gives me something small to look forward to and facilitates my daydreaming about someday picking up and leaving the US.
