This good thing happened today...

of the holiday season: Mission Impossible 2.

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, we saw (in order of preference):

1. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
2. Warhorse
3. Tower Heist
4. New Year’s Eve
5. Mission Impossible 2
6. Sherlock Holmes

and saw Tower Heist. It was hilarious and we loved it.

I read one review that said everything good was in the trailer, and the movie was not worth seeing. Seeing the movie just reinforced my opinion that reviewers are too jaded to actually enjoy a movie and that they are so out of touch with what people want to see that I should just ignore them.

Anyway, fun day for me and Nick.

I got to stay home with Nick and not work, not think, and not be productive. Yay.

to see “Much Ado about Nothing” at a community theater. It was truly a fun time. One of the Friday Friends who loves plays and movies of any kind met us there and we all sat together, right up front. We had a great time, and Nick absolutely loved it.

came yesterday. Huge props to Cuisinart for replacing my coffeemaker that broke after less than a year. No hassle . . . I just paid $10 shipping and will send the old one back

which is right next to one of the school’s two Starbucks locations.

I got a grande nonfat latte and took it into class with me. Yay!

The drops were cool on my skin. Behind me, I could hear students singing, “It’s Raining Men” and laughing. I felt alive.
