if I have really done this, but what I have found is that money is a tool and should be viewed as such. People who have a lot have the same worries and concerns as those who don’t have as much. But those who don’t have as much wish they had more. The more you have the more you want. There is a quite safe feeling of having a full frig and knowing that you don’t have to think about buying food for at least a few days, I will give you that. But there are the times that I fondly look back to the times when my husband and I were scratching out a living. We were so much more creative with our time and money (what little there was of it). People buy into the American culture of having the huge house, two cars (at least) etc. and it becomes so overwhelming. Each period of a person’s life is exciting and should be charished, even if you are buying 50lbs of rice to get you through the next few months.
