So, I stopped by one of the local grocery stores today and picked up a few packets of seeds. Cilantro, fennel, and catnip. Yeah, I know the catnip isn’t an herb in the “human food” sense, but I like watching the cats jump around like little cokeheads. Now I just need to plant them somewhere…

My wife likes to cook, but she has a total black thumb. I think it would be kind of neat to have an herb garden so she can use fresh stuff instead of going to the store and spending $3 on a bottle of dried up, ten-year-old, flavorless crud.
