I’ve recently become an apartment dweller again, and I took one of the cats there with me this past weekend. She was absolutely terrified for the first day or so, and now she’s over that. Instead, she is now getting bored. I’m betting that she sleeps all day while I’m at work, and I know that she sleeps most of the evening while I’m cooking dinner and doing the laundry and such. So then, of course, she gets up in the middle of the night and tries to find things to do, much to my chagrine. She’s been able to go outside when she wants for the past five years or so, and I think it’s going to drive her nuts being cooped up in a little apartment every day. So, I’m going to try to leash train her so I can at least take her out for walks when I get home in the evening. It’ll be good for me, too. Today, I go to the store to buy the necessary supplies…
