For the past few years my neck has hurt off and on. this may be Cervical Dystonia.
Occasionally my neck will hurt and movement will become restriced some. Usually my shoulders will become uneven in an attempt to compensate for the pain.
Sometimes the pain is so severe for a couple weeks that my neck will be totally shifted to the left and become stuck to my shoulder.
After watching Mystery Diagnosis one night, I saw a man who had the EXACT same symptoms as me except ALL the time for several years. He discovered it was Cervical Dystonia, neck spasms caused by confused signals from the brain. He treated his neck muscles with Botox and it has been in remission for over 20 years.
My problem isn’t as bad as his or as constant, but I think it is the same. I have to get this checked out.
