recycle

Gonna get the girls dressed, an then I think we’ll grab the bags an head to the recycling center and drop em off! Then, I will have officially completed this goal! Yahoo!

I’ve been saying I was gonna take my old clothes and Donate them to charity for YEARS now, and never have, until today! I bagged up a bunch old stuff I’ll never wear that was just taking up space, and dropped them off at the drop off box just after I picked the girls up from their mom today. So, at least I’ve done that. It’s a start. Next, I have to take these bags of trash to the recycling center. I have them separated, and the cans are getting full, so it’s just a matter of taking them down there and this goal will be complete. I will officially not only have recycled, but also put in place the mechanisms to allow me to continue to do so for years and years, and that makes me very happy. :)

Or so Kermit would have us believe, lol. Actually, I’m thinking this one is gonna be pretty easy after all. I drive by the new(ish) recycling center in my town pretty much on a daily basis, so I thnk I’m just gonna pick up a couple of different colored garbage cans and label them paper, plastic, etc., and then just drop them off once a week or so on my way to work. Really, the biggest obstacle is going to be going and getting the cans, which I really don’t think will be difficult at all. Now if I can just avoid Miss Piggy while doing it…..
