I was browsing through your flick’r pictures this morning. You have some really nice nature shots. I like the pictures of your house and yard. Very cute.
Someone showed me a website called zillow (I can’t get the link to work: www.zillow.com) a few days ago. If you enter your address and zip, it will show you an aerial photo of your house (if available), a description, the estimated value of it and the value of surrounding houses, and even the taxes last year. If you left click and hold on the image, then move your mouse, you can explore surrounding areas.
I looked up my friends’ and families’ houses, and even the houses I grew up in. Seattle is tremendously expensive. The house we lived in there, in the early 80’s has gone up 4 times in value.
Take a look,
John
My wife, Jackie, has always wondered when I was going to take her to Alaska. This class reunion is a perfect opportunity to take her and see everyone again, 20 years later! Jackie has two girls, Shakia (15) and Tashina (almost 9). They keep us very busy, especially Kia with the young boys! Jackie and I have been married for 5+ years and we live in Fort Myers, Florida. We would like to take the girls with us to Alaska, but down here, school starts in the beginnig of August. Maybe we can work something out. I’m back in school at night to finish my business degree. My goal is to minor in finance and become a financial planner. I’ll be in school in August too, but I think I can afford to miss a few classes. Jackie’s brother, Cheddie, lives in Juneau so it would be great to see him too! Cheddie (the one who looks like Dan) was here for Christmas when we had Jacike’s entire family, 31 people from N.Y., Orlando, New Jersey, Alaska, Tampa, and Miami, at our house on Christmas Day (picture). Jackie and her family are from Jamaica so there was lots of Jamaican food and stories about growing up there. A trip to Anchorage in August sounds great! I haven’t been there since 1987.
John
