play music

Work has had me in a technical training role for these last two weeks, and even though I enjoy teaching, the job seems to have mpacted my stimulus to play music, these last 2 weeks I have found myself existing as an unmotivated couch potato with my evenings being dictated by the “giggle box” o’course the bloody cold weather …brrrrrrr

This “phenomena” is something I have noticed on other occasions; as teaching mentally stimulates me but masks my musical creativity.

However last night I pushed through and played and sang for a couple of hours, it really felt good. The festive season is here so there will some good functions, house parties, etc to play..

And tonight we play for a charity breakup party so it will be fun…

Just returned from my first “band camp” at Camp He Ho Ha in alberta Canada run by the Edmonton bluegrass circle it was just pure fun I was a student in the advance banjo course it was good but real benfit was sharing in the atmosphere!!! of the weekend. *

My appetite for playing music is almost all comsuming, fortunately I have a job to keep me grounded. It is always a pleasure playing other people and it is great way to meet people However we play so much we forget to converse verbaly, oh well! I better go back and do it again
