I have been actively working on this goal for a while. I have everal audio courses that I have listened to in my car on the way to and from work for a few months now. I’ve been trying to get the conversations down and numbers, etc. I need to work on the reading and writing portion though. I have a lot of readingmaterial, vocabulry cards and grammar cards to work with. But going through graduae school, working full time, two kids and a wife, and I just complete the first draft of my novel. I’ve been pretty busy. But that doesn’t mean I’m not committed to learning French. I love the language.

I have wanted to learn other languages since I can remember. I know a good bit of Spanish, very little French, also very little German. Those are my three main languages to work on. I have quite a collection of learning material on each but very little time at the moment. I am in college full time and I work full time in addition to being a parent full time, a husband full time and having another little one on the way within the next month. So I’m a pretty busy guy. But I still find time to look over things here and there. What I really want to do is find a native speaker that speaks English really well also and just chat/e-mail back and forth. I will pick up more as time goes. Another thing I would really like to do is take a college course in French as well as in the other languages. However, my current college doesn’t offer anything but Spanish. I have another semester and a half to go with my associate degree in Nursing and then on the to Bachelor program. I have a lot in front of me. But I’m enjoying it. Education is great.
