The artist is finishing up the last page, which he is unhappy about hence it taking a long time. I’m looking for a scanner and spoke to some small labels at Wizard World that gave me some good feedback. So I’m looking realistically at October for having the comic in my hands.
We’ve already started hashing out our next book, which will go a lot quicker. I have the about a 1/3 of the story and thumbnails done, so it’s up to him. We hope to have two books done for Wizard World Philadelphia next summer.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The artist, Larry, is really on a roll, he’s cranking out pages and not compromising or cutting corners. The stuff looks great and we’re already talking about a second book. I think we have about 6 pages left, we have 17 already. We had some questions about the end of the book, or I guess I should say that Larry didn’t like the end and I had to sell him on it. I’m still selling, but I think he’s about to buy. Anyway, I’m going to post some pictures this week, so feedback is EXPECTED (please :)
The artist on the book has really been inspired, which, in turn, has inspired me to write. We’ve reached the climax of the story and I really like the direction it’s going. I will definitely post some of the art this weekend, I love the artwork. Are big plan is to have the book printed before Philadelphia Wizard World of ‘08 so we can get a table. Anyone who shows up and mentions 43Things will get a free copy :)
Here’s page one of our book, Larry (the artist) came over with this one night and I was very, very excited…
It’s been a while, I met again with the artist of the book and we updated each other on where we are in the process. We set a deadline of next July (2008) to have the book printed. The idea is that we will get a table at the Philadelphia Wizard World. My job is to look into the printing process. I figure since the artwork takes longer than the scripting, I need to keep busy with the more mundane aspects of the book. So… I’ve done nothing so far :)
the artist of our comic book has been working on the book and has completed a couple pages. They look great, he just wanted to get caught up with the dialogue. The pages look great, I can’t wait to get it done !!!
is being an artist. He’s slowed to a crawl, damn I wish I could draw… He’s completed five pages and I think they look awesome. You can check them out on our myspace page. I guess just do a search for boobytrap comics? I posted all the completed pages there.
Boobytrap comics has the first couple pages of the first book, Since I Met the Devil, up on the internet. Search for Boobytrap Comics on Myspace and check out the first couple pages of Larry’s awesome art.
