Petition the robots to remove the option to share the entries of others on facebook, twitter, etc.

on a goal. I have backed this goal up, and will probably continue to do this as I go. I have several pages of comments/cheers/goals/entries backed up. I will continue to do this and probably delete the entry afterwrads.

I’ll buy stuff from the ads I click. What do you want? I would happily pay to use 43T if I could be assured that I would be valued as a community member rather than used as a commodity. If that is what I am, I don’t know if I can stick around.

I am in one 43t user group on facebook, which is private/secret as my family is also on my facebook page, and anyone who knows me knows that I’ve done a lot of processing stuff about my family here on 43. If I have to chose, professionally, I have to keep the facebook page open; it is how my co-editor and I both told readers they could contact us if they wanted to in our interviews.

Personally? I would rather have 43things than facebook. But if I have to choose? I’ll close my accounts here. I haven’t got another community where I feel safe being as vulnerable as I do here, or did.

Why didn’t someone ASK or see what the community of users thought BEFORE they implemented the change?
