I gave away one book,put 11 more up for sale and bought 5. I need to go back to the bookstore again, probably tomorrow a.m. I also need to go back to the antique store and completely change out the paperbacks there too.

Hmmm. I should do this BEFORE the bookstore, then I can add the appropriate books to the 10th box. If I get out of here bright and early tomorrow, maybe I can do both?

Dunno folks, but we’ll find out tomorrow! Tomorrow is dump day too….

and I’m off to the bookstore this a.m. to deliver the two boxes after I go to the storage and fill the 8th. I may give the 23 books to the thrift shop as I have to go to the bank around the corner today too.

Also, I have 4 notebooks and 2 aprons ready to be mailed to my nieces today too. This makes 108 books + 23 books or 131 books (plus what I use to fill that other box) out today. I will also take TO the storage 1 box of 50-60 books that need to be researched, so that they don’t hang around the house until I get to it. I cataloged them, I’ll mark the box, but there’s no particular reason why they should stay here in the meantime.

Sigh. Will this job NEVER end???

in the form of the 6th box. I have the box to go to Boston started, only a few books, but they’re there just the same. I took a box of romances TO the storage and brought 3 back FROM the storage, to generate more boxes to sort, cull, and sell!

I have a box to deliver in Boston next week as well, for another over 100 that will be wholesaled away! Now, I just have to get them cataloged and outta here!

or 205 books so far. If I figure that’s 10% of the total that means I’ll deliver something like 2000+ books before I’m done.

I also sold 9 books today.

And (oh yeah) I sold 3 things (at least one book, the rest stuff?) at the Antique Store last month.

But you know what? I’m TIRED of working 7 days a week to get the stuff outta here. There’s a LOT of it and I’ve been working hard at it for the past month say? and you can’t tell. I told DH that I would try and catalog the next box or two out of the house. That will help if I can do that, then the boxes from here won’t replace the boxes that are coming out of the storage. The problem with that is that the best of the paperbacks are here, the show stock, and I don’t really need to include those in this sale. Ah well, another day, another box or two.

The first box took me an hour to catalog. The 2nd and 3rd took me 1/2 hour each. Assuming the same rate, that means that the remaining 27 boxes will take me a mere 13 1/2 hours to catalog. Given what I’m making on the deal, that’s a reasonable hourly wage. Unfortunately, by the time you figure 5 years of storage and the original purchase price, I’m just losing $.

I also have to get the data for my 2008 taxes together too, ASAP, sigh.

Why do I make my life something I hate? Answer: I put off the stuff I don’t like to do, then have to do marathons. Pah!
