keep in better touch with friends & family

I spent a couple of wonderful days this week with my good and longtime friend Tracy. It was great. It certainly did not feel like so many years had gone by. Unfortunately this time she’s the one moving far away. So little time. But we spent it well.

Today Cameron and I were invited to dinner at my brother Aaron and his girlfriend Crystal’s apartment. I was excited because I wanted lots of pictures of my nephew Trent, who is 5 months old. God, is he adorable. I didn’t want to leave. We ate a really amazing dinner and watched Kingdom of Heaven, which wasn’t actually too bad, I guess. My other brother Ricky was there too, and it was great to see him, because he’s awesome and I really missed him. Since I’ll be moving soon I made sure Cameron and I had a lot of fun. Good times were had.

Tomorrow I visit the in-laws, but it’ll be a lot of fun. I love them so much! And it gives me a little break from Cameron.

another letter to my husband. A short quick, love letter. I hope I get one back.

It seems like I’ve spoken to everyone I know through the phone, instant messages, or email today. Everyone except Michael, but hopefully he will call me tomorrow. I really hope! It’s nice though that friends and family seem to know when I’m feeling really down, and they’ll offer their love and support. I really needed it today.

I visited my good friend Rachael this weekend. It was a pleasant little mini-vacation and we had a lot of fun. We took some great pictures too, but her computer wasn’t working, so I couldn’t get any yet. Soon! We had a lot of great conversation and learned many new things about each other. She’s such a great person.

For no reason at all. He should get it in about 3 days. Hopefully he’ll return the thought and send one to me, but even if he doesn’t, I know he’ll still feel pretty good about getting a card. It’ll brighten his week anyway.

At the very tail end of the day I finally got ahold of my mom. I forced her to talk to me for awhile. She actually wasn’t home today, so I forgive her for not answering the phone…this time.

I think she’s home, and just ignoring me. Maybe she’s “too depressed to talk to anyone” again.

Nothing like bringing your kids down with you…

Today we had lunch with my grandmother, and later my Aunt came over for a visit too. It was nice. I hadn’t seen them for a couple months.
