learn something new every day

That when it comes to true friendships, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been apart. Once you get together again it’s like no time has gone by. It’s so amazing.

today about making elaborate plans and watching them slowly crumble into bits as you finally realize that you won’t at all be doing what you originally intended to. It’s really frustrating. And it all started out because I didn’t hear my alarm clock for an hour and woke up so late. Oh well. Some day it’ll work out for me.

I learned that if I don’t put this website up every day, then I forget to remember to learn something new every day. I should probably try to write down the things I learn every day. In my defense, I have been busy packing everything I own and attending a billion November birthday parties (yes, already, and there are a billion more!).

Yesterday my sister told me that I’m one year older than the VCR. That’s pretty interesting, I think.

Doesn’t it seem like costumes get more creative every year? I’ve already seen some amazing ones and it’s not even Halloween night yet!

For lack of something better…

I learned today that my mother-in-law is throwing a little bday party for my son (turning five next week) because she feels bad that he can’t be with his daddy this year. I think it’s really sweet and she really didn’t have to do anything. As long as Cameron is happy…why not?

that all of my son’s toys fit into 6 boxes. 1 giant box full of trucks and cars and airplanes and 5 little boxes full of everything else. But we’re not counting stuffed animals yet.

Yesterday I learned that my 14 year old s-i-l has her first boyfriend! She denies it when I ask her, but none of her siblings can keep a secret. I think it’s so cute!

were completely trivial. They were so little and unimportant I won’t even bother mentioning them. The only things I can think of are prices of things or how to get a new video rental card, or how good the chocolate at JC Penney tastes. Little meaningless trivial things. Oh wait, I did learn that you can use both hair-brained and hare-brained. They both mean the same thing. Still small, but kind of interesting. Tomorrow hopefully I’ll learn something really life-altering, but probably not. Ha!
