I might start with something easy like curtains. 3 years ago

My sister doesn’t know much about sewing, but she made a pillow, pajama bottoms and curtains. The curtains were cute and she said they were way easy to make. So I think I’ll start with something like that. But I’ll still need to find someone to help me pick out the material and everything. But at least I have some kind of minor goal here.

Basics 4 years ago

I have a sewing machine and this handy little kit full of the sewing essentials, but I don’t know how to sew. Ultimately I want to learn how to make outfits, because I think I’ll feel really good about it. I’ve been searching for some kind of sewing class. I’m also trying to convince friends and family to take time out of their busy schedules to teach me. No luck so far. I’ve been told it’s easy, but I don’t even know how to pick out fabric.
