keep my house clean

I was supposed to have company today, so I spent the entire weekend cleaning. My visitor’s ended up not being able to make it, but it was okay, because ultimately I bought a loveseat and I would have wanted to put it into a clean apartment anyway. So now I really just have to clean my bedroom, and organize the closets, and then keep it all clean, and I’ll be great.

When you’re going to have company over, that’s when you really get down and clean that house. It looks so sparkling clean that I’m nervous about living in it. Ha! I don’t want to mess anything up. My poor five year old son isn’t liking my neurotic behaviour either. Maybe I should try to train myself to clean more often and regularly and I would never have the problem of having to go crazy whenever I’m having people over. But I am a clutter kind of gal and it’ll get untidy again soon enough.

The living room is done and so very cozy and clean. Now I don’t want to leave it at all, which makes it difficult to clean the other rooms. Heh. I suppose I can end for today and take up another room tomorrow. I’m packing too, so it’s not as nice.

All we’ve done so far today is clean. My four year old son just won’t stop! Everytime he says, “Okay, I’m done!” he finds something else that he wants to clean up right away. How many kids like cleaning so much? I know it won’t last though.

Today I went wild cleaning my house. I expected company, which helped, even though I didn’t end up having any. But now my kitchen, living room, and bathroom sparkle! Then again, in the manner of shoving things where no one can see them, my bedroom is now a complete disaster. Oops. Tomorrow’s project?

I also cleaned my car. On a roll!

Yes.

Today I cleaned the kitchen, the living room, and my son’s bedroom. Once I finish up the remaining couple of rooms, and some closets, I can get serious about this goal.
