get my sewing book published

My last entry was 48 weeks ago – this does not bode well for a speedy conclusion to this goal. Now that I have my sewing blog up and running (and am making the third project on it) I plan another big round of query letters to US publishers. Maybe agents too. It would be good to find an agent because I have other book ideas. This time I will emphasize my ability to promote the heck out of my own book and use the blog as a marketing tool. Of course, the blog would probably have to be spiffed up a little but I am surprised at how many visitors it is getting just by its little, unadorned self.

I’ve written the book and sent out about 24 query letters in two batches. I have received standard form rejection letters but also some with personal touches. I also got one email from a publisher who sounded interested and might still be interested. I have to send out some more queries.
