I have learned (mostly the hard way) that to be ‘in tune’ with myself requires listening to the small quiet voice, that is my intuition. It knows more than I do. Sometimes I wonder whether I have a guardian angel, especially after my intuition has saved me from some bad situations. This led me to wonder if, perhaps, the guardian angel works through my intuition, or if they might be one and the same? What do you think?
That is my thought for today, since I have run out of quotations to post.

Love like you’ve never been hurt,
And dance like no one’s watching.’

Rise again!
”...And you, to whom adversity has dealt the final blow,
with smiling b*stards lying to you everywhere you go:
Turn to, and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain,
and like the Mary Ellen Carter, rise again.
Rise again, rise again,
Though your heart it be broken or life about to end.
No matter what you’ve lost, be it a home, a love, a friend,
Like the Mary Ellen Carter, rise again!”
- excerpt from Stan Rogers' song, The Mary Ellen Carter.
It's about a ship, but also a metaphor about overcoming our
troubles and never giving up. The original Stan Rogers
recording of this song always gives me courage when I hear it.

‘There is no “supposed to be” in bodies. The question is not size of shape or years of age, or even having two of everything, for some do not. The wild issue is, does this body feel, does it have the right connection to pleasure, to heart, to soul, to the wild? Does it have happiness, joy? Can it in its own way move, dance, jiggle, sway, thrust? Nothing else matters.’ – Clarissa Pinkola Estes, in Women Who Run with the Wolves

“When we come to the edge of all the light we have,
and we must take a step into the darkness of the unknown,
We must believe one of two things:
Either we will find something firm to stand on,
Or we will be taught to fly.” – Patrick Overton

“Try a thing you haven’t tried, three times: once to get over the fear, once to find out how to do it, and a third time to find out whether you like it or not.” – Virgil Thomson
