It’s so strange. This morning I woke up and I just had this desire to live. My new year’s resolution is to live life to the fullest…I mean really LIVE my life. Today was great. I’ve never been filled with this sort of energy before; it’s energy to change and make my life different from before. I can’t wait to start the new year because I’m going to make it a great year. I’m gonna do the things I love for a change. I’m going to complete the goals I have on 43 things. I have the will and determination to really turn my life around. I don’t know where it came from but I’m going to keep it with me and take chances. I can just feel it in my heart. It’s truly going to be a NEW year.

It’s going to be different from now on. It just helps that New Year’s is coming. A chance to start over. That’s what we all need.
I’m going to be a better person. I’m going to do everything that I always imagined I was capable of. It’s going to all change and I’m going to be better because of it.

For awhile I’ve been harboring these angry feelings that have been inhibiting me from really doing ANYTHING worthwhile in my life. But today I got a wake up call. A friend of mine is going through some things. A number of people in her life have been diagnosed with a certain illness that will shorten their lives. It made me think about how lucky I am that my family is okay and that I am healthy and alive. It’s hard for me to just simply let go of what I’ve been feeling lately but I’m going to try because life really IS too short. There are more important things to focus on in my life so I’m going to try really hard to become better.
