get along with my dad again

I’ll mark this as done. I just went to camporee with him and my brother, and we were talking and stuff just like old times. Its nice to get along again. My mom was surpised at how it went when we got back and he even gave me tips on WoW.

He may be nicer to me, but he still acts like a jerk to others. Since he stopped being like that to me, its like he needs some other outlet. I really look up to my mom now for dealing with all his sh*t and not blowing up on him.

and we are still getting along. I still haven’t hugged him or anything like that again yet, but I think that this Cold War is finally thawing out.

I’m still maintaining good terms with him like yesterday. He is even considering letting me go to a friends house to work on a project. I know its early, but I think I may accomplish this goal soon. I think that this may be my first achievement on my list instead of one of the last like I thought.

Today was a big step in this goal. First, I was smiling all day and I think he noticed that, I’m usually a bit sulky around him. Then, we sorta talked about a game we both play. He even was cool at the scout meeting. It was still a bit akward, but its a start. I just hope it lasts.

My dad and I used to be really close, but then some things happened. He’s talking to me a bit now, but we both are stubborn. I’m not sure if we can forgive each other or talk about what happened, but maybe things can be a bit more like they used to be.
